IUB 2030: Next steps

During the summer of 2023, the IUB 2030 Executive Leadership Team—in consultation with campus partners—developed a set of specific initiatives designed to operationalize the IUB 2030 strategic plan.

These initiatives are directly tied to IUB 2030 goals, objectives, and metrics, and will be advanced by various working groups and campus leadership. Progress on each initiative will be regularly updated below.

Review faculty success and incentive structures in support of IUB 2030 (balance and priority of responsibilities, community-engaged research, innovation/entrepreneurship, etc.).

Implement a robust communications strategy to support the implementation of the 2030 plan.

Implement data-gathering mechanisms (e.g., surveys, focus groups, etc.) into initiatives to understand student, faculty, and staff perceptions and needs.
